What does the world sound like when sounds don’t exist anymore?

The exhibition represents the artists’ double annotations: first from the meaning of the language to their imaginations of sounds, then translated to their chosen visual medias.

The attempt of this union of means of expression speaks for itself. Artworks have different meanings depending on a chosen media, which represent the artist’s physical and mental states, experiences, tastes, as well as messages. The chosen artists all work in various fields, through which they choose to represent the idea of a silent world, and to convey it to the audience. Their uses are like the choice of a language to recite a piece of poetry. No matter our limited knowledge of different languages, it does not affect our understanding of beauty. These artistically expressed languages are unique and well combined with the thought of the artists.

The sense of sound can be visualized through scientific, mnemonic, sensory ways etc., since sound does exist. Describing silence when nobody knows what the word means is as difficult as describing the universe without the notions of fullness and emptiness.

The idea approached is the absence of sounds.
